Gubi Labs Academy — build kit v1 Start at https://gubilabs.com/academy/build-files Practice geometry (original Gubi Labs teaching designs): first-print-tile-mm.stl / .step: 30 x 20 x 3 mm. Flat underside at Z=0. clearance-coupon-mm.stl / .step: 60 x 20 x 4 mm. Five holes along X at -24,-12,0,12,24 mm; respective diameters 3.0,3.2,3.4,3.6,4.0 mm. From the top view, keep the smallest hole on your left and mark that end with a pen before measuring. Hole labels are not embossed. STL carries no units. Interpret these files as millimeters and verify the bounding dimensions in Bambu Studio. STEP keeps editable solid geometry; it does not contain a native feature history. Both meshes were checked for closed surface, consistent winding, one connected component and expected dimensions. They have NOT been physically printed or qualified. They are educational test pieces, not BDX-R replacement parts. Use the actual printer, nozzle and filament profiles; no executable G-code or presliced machine project is included. Print the tile first. Inspect a cooled first layer and measure it. Then print the coupon with holes vertical (Z), test the same measured pin in every hole without forcing it and record the result. Do not infer insert fit, threads or structural strength from a clearance test. The CSVs are editable worksheets, not an approved BOM or electrical design. build-workbook.csv inventories 81 named upstream description meshes; candidate categories are for inspection, quantities remain unverified. Motor/battery/IMU meshes are purchased representations. Critical metal-revision entries stay on hold. Import CSV in a spreadsheet or edit as text; save a dated working copy. Get the actual pinned BDX-R STEP and manufacturing-source references from the build-files page. The creator has not supplied a complete verified print/fastener/assembly release in the inspected public sources. The course shows how to resolve and record each missing interface before manufacturing or energizing. Run python docking_mock.py for offline state-machine tests. It has no hardware, charger, motor or network interface. A passing mock is not a physical charging-system validation.
